Turbulence Training is a fat loss system, workout and fitness program created by Craig Ballantyne, who is a ‘Men’s Health’ Magazine Expert and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

The training program is designed to enable you to shed body fat and gain muscle without doing long, boring cardio exercise and it consists of 3 short but very intense workouts per week.

The workout session plans are always different so that your body does not get used to a predictable workout routine and these constant changes are more effective to lose fat and grow muscle.

Research has shown that high-intensity interval training (often called HIIT) combined with lifting heavier weights for fewer reps, is a better and more efficient way to build muscle and lose fat than lengthy cardio exercises, higher number of reps and training with lighter weights. The Turbulence Training program shows you how you can perform just 3 workouts a week of 45 minutes each and shed body fat while gaining body muscle.

The program includes a warm up exercise that you do for 5 minutes followed by strength training of 15-20 minutes and then interval training of 15-20 minutes to finish off each workout session.

Even though these workouts are shorter in duration and less frequent, the difficulty level is high. They are designed to make you do as much work as possible in a shorter duration of time, and you'll feel that you have done some heavy duty training by the time you finish a workout session.

A big advantage of the Turbulence Training program is that it does not bore you with repetition. A lot of people start fat loss programs with enthusiasm but quit after a while because they get tired of doing the same thing over and over again. In this program, you will be changing workout routines once a month. You are doing the same exercise only 12 times and this is beneficial because this strategy does not allow your body to adapt itself to the changes which will stop your progress.

This workout system does not include a diet plan and it might be too intense for some folks. As you might have noticed this fitness program is not for folks who are trying to build lots of muscle but is more oriented towards the combination of fat loss and muscle gain.

The system just asks for 45 minutes of your time 3 days a week. It has a routine which does not require too much of your valuable time. So, if you have a busy schedule and cant find time to shed those extra unwanted pounds then this workout is something you will get good results from in less time.
